Glass in grave monuments as the embodiment of light

Glass in grave monuments as the embodiment of light

The combination of glass and stone in grave monuments is a wonderful symbolization of our being and our transience, the "here and now" and the transparency of the glass as a symbol of light and a sign of hope.

The glasses are manufactured individually in collaboration with the mason and thus are generally developed in discussion with the bereaved relatives of and designed with the mason.

The glass is often used as a cover of a candle or as inlaid that is awakened by the the effect of the sun.

Of course, other artistic works in stone with individual applications of glass can be combined.
