Gerhard Riessbeck

For and with Gerhard Rießbeck we had manufacture these combined fusing and painting glass work in the Protestant church of Weisendorf.

Both base panes are 650 x 1.950 mm and were coated with a total of 15 individual glass pieces and partially strewn with glass powder and frits.

As basic glass, colorless Artista® 6 mm was used. Overall, about 4 kg Artista® Frits and about 1.25 m2 Artista® in light or dark colors were used. The green pane was additionally sandblasted by the artist.

Both panes were painted by him with glass paint and then fired. Overall, both were fired and melted three times at 650 to 820 ° C.

Mr. Riessbeck strewed the glass powder by itself and carried out the painting and sandblasting, with our assistance. The panes were finally processed into insulating glazing.
