The glass-paintings collection maintained by the dukes of Saxony-Coburg and Gotha from the 15th to the 19th century encompasses a total of 192 glass painting panes (Swiss panes, cabinet panes) which we had the privilege of conserving and preserving for the exhibition ""Light and Colour"", from 31 May to 30 November 2003 at Callenberg Castle.

Here, you will find a link to the official Web pages for Callenberg Castle.

Here, you will find a PDF file with press articles on the exhibition (from – among others- the newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung).

We will gladly provide additional information upon request.

Here, you will find a small selecetion of panes – of course, additional photos are available.

To accompany this exhibition, a catalogue has been published (Ewald Jeutter: Light and Colour. A glass-paintings collection spanning the 15th to 19th centuries, from the estate of the Dukes of Saxony-Coburg and Gotha, Exhibition Catalogue, Coburg 2003).
