St. Jakob Basilica in Straubing

Approx. three hundred glass painting fields in the enormous inventory in the Straubing St. Jakob Basilica were conserved in our studios and equipped with a new protective glazing.

These also include approx. 50 medieval glass paintings.

In the course of the conservation of the medieval glass paintings, we worked in a working group with the graduate conservator with a degree from a University of Applied Sciences, Martha Hör. Dr. Ivo Rauch directed the specialists' construction work; on the part of the Bavarian State Office for Monument Conservation, work was supervised by Dr. Susanne Fischer and the graduate engineer Mr. Bernhard Herrmann.

You can find more information on our conservation teamhere.
